The wholesale toy trade has its own language. Here is ours — plain English, no fine print.

The smallest order a supplier accepts. Ours is 48 pieces per design, and you can mix designs to fill one carton.

Shipping terms where the seller prepays freight, customs duties and taxes. Nothing is owed when the carton reaches your door.

The price of goods at the origin port before freight. Your landed cost adds shipping and duties on top.

The reference sample both sides sign off on. Mass production must match it — disputes are settled against this unit.

US requirement under CPSIA certifying a children’s product meets applicable safety rules. Required by US customs and Amazon.

EU toy safety standard covering mechanical/physical, flammability and chemical safety.

US toy safety standard, available on request for specific retail programs.

Batch-level marking printed on the toy linking it to production date and place — mandatory for US children’s products.

OEM: your design, our factory. ODM: our base design adapted with your branding.

Multiple designs consolidated into one carton so small buyers can hit MOQ across a range instead of per SKU.

Price breaks at quantity steps (ours land around 500 / 2,000 / 5,000 pcs per SKU).

Sea freight for shipments smaller than a full container; you share container space with other cargo.

Bill of Lading copy — proof your goods are loaded; balance payments are commonly made against it.

Checks before goods leave the factory: count, workmanship, labels, packing — documented with photos.

Squishy material that springs back slowly after squeezing. The feel buyers mean when they say “good squish.”
